Construction of the Tsuruga-3 and -4 delayed by two years

[JAIF, 28 December] Constructionof the Tsuruga 3 and 4 nuclear power reactors has been delayed by twoyears, Japan Atomic Power Co (JAPC) announced. Construction of the two1538 MWe advanced pressurized water reactors (APWRs) will now begin inOctober 2010, with commercial operation of unit 3 set to start in March2016 and unit 4 in March 2017.
