WildHorse seeks uranium in Hungary

23 January 2007

[Wildhorse, 16 January] WildHorse Energy Ltd of Australia has been granted a licence to explore for uranium at its Mÿa1riakéménd project in the Pécs region of southern Hungary. The new project covers some 177 square kilometres and is in a region with a history of large-scale uranium mining. Richard Pearce, Managing Director of WildHorse, said that the Mÿa1riakéménd project offers the potential to identify a resource of similar scale to the original Pécs project. Cumulative production at the Pécs mine was some 46 million pounds U3O8 (20,900 tonnes U3O8) prior to closure in 1997.
