Neutron instrumentation contract

Rolls-Royce has announced its contract to supply neutron instrumentation to units 3 and 4 at Mochovce in Slovakia. Work to complete the two V-213 model VVER-440 units started in 2008 to compliment two similar units at the site. Together with another nuclear power plant, Bohunice, nuclear power is established as supplying some 55% of the country's electricity. Rolls-Royce will install its Spinline system at Mochovce, the same as already in use at Dukovany nuclear power plant in the neighbouring Czech Republic. Some of the rest of the instrumentation and control equipment will come from Siemens.
