Nuclear workers take hand-to-hand honours

Fighters from the Volgodonsk nuclear power plant took honours at the second All-Russia Hand-To-Hand Combat Tournament on 5-6 May. The tournament was sponsored by Russian nuclear plant operator, Rosenergoatom, along with the Volgodonsk plant and the Hand-To-Hand Combat Federation of Russia. Rosatom reported that a Volgodonsk fighter took the first prize, while one from Kursk nuclear power plant took second place and the Leningrad plant third. The overall team title was taken by the Moscow branch of the Federal Security Service, with the Volgodonsk team second and last year's winners, Volgodonsk region, third.
