New director general for RosEnergoAtom

Yevgeny Romanov has been elected as director general of RosEnergoAtom, the company responsible for constructing and operating Russia's nuclear power plants. Romanov was elected to the post on 29 July and his appointment formally announced by Rosatom deputy director Alexander Lokshin on 1 August. Romanov has a background in engineering and finance, and has served in various roles in the Russian nuclear fuel cycle industry, metallurgy and mining and financial sectors. He replaces Sergey Obozov, who is to take up another post according to RosEnergoAtom.
