Heavy equipment installation begins at Fangchenggang
The first of three steam generators has been put in place at unit 1 of the Fangchenggang plant in China's Guangxi province marking the start of heavy equipment installation. The unit is scheduled to begin operating in 2015.

State aid for Pallas reactor cleared
An €80 million ($105 million) state loan for the construction of a replacement for the High Flux Reactor (HFR) in the Netherlands meets EU rules, the European Commission has concluded. The Pallas reactor will take over HFR's role as a major supplier of the world's medical radioisotopes.
