Vessel checks for more Swedish reactors
Sweden's nuclear regulator has instructed the operators of two more of the country's reactors to review the conditions of the units' pressure vessels to check for defects that may have been introduced in the manufacturing process.

Fukushima water storage tank overflows
UPDATED
An investigation is underway into why a storage tank at the Fukushima Daiichi site overflowed, leading to a spill of partially treated radioactive water. Clean-up of this water, which does not appear to have flowed into the sea, is underway.

New lease of life for Garoña?
Spain's cabinet has approved a royal decree that allows recently shutdown nuclear power plants to apply for their operating permits to be renewed. The regulatory change could lead to the restart of the Garoña plant.
