TVA, GEH cooperate on BWRX-300 deployment at Clinch River
Tennessee Valley Authority said it has entered an agreement with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy to support its planning and preliminary licensing for the potential deployment of a BWRX-300 small modular reactor at the Clinch River site near Oak Ridge in Tennessee.

Grossi urges world to ‘recommit’ to nuclear non-proliferation
In a time of "global uncertainty, anxiety and fear" the world "must come together and recommit" to "nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament and to promote cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy", International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi has said.

Last Energy agrees to build ten SMRs for Polish industrial zone
US small modular reactor developer Last Energy has signed a Letter of Intent with Poland's Legnica Special Economic Zone and DB Energy on the construction of a power plant consisting of ten SMRs with a combined capacity of 200 MWe. The agreement also includes a power purchase agreement with a minimum length of 24 years by LSEZ and its tenants.

Poland expands cooperation on SMRs and large reactors
Polish state-owned energy company Enea SA has signed an agreement with US small modular reactor developer Last Energy to cooperate on the deployment of SMRs, potentially in Poland. Meanwhile, France's EDF has signed further cooperation agreements with Polish companies to support its offer to supply 4 to 6 EPRs in Poland.

Bechtel teams up with Toshiba for Polish new build
