Forsmark chief resigns

[Forsmark, DN, 8 February]Lacking the full support of the Forsmark board, the company's managingdirector Lars Fagerberg announced his resignation on the afternoon of 8February. Recent incidents and the media storms t heybrought with them have put Forsmark management under pressure, andseveral politicians have earlier called for Fagerberg to step down. Claes-Göran Runermark will be acting managing director until a permanent successor is appointed. It was also announced today that Vattenfall number two Hans von Uthman will becomenew chairman of the board at Forsmark, and several new functionsfocusing only on safety will be introduced within management and board.
