Atomprom seeks Japanese collaboration

[Yomiuri Shimbun, 1 Jan 2007 ] Atomprom is seeking a collaboration with Toshiba and Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) , according to the Japanese Newspaper, Yomuri Shimbun. Negotiations may begin shortly, following acceptance by Toshiba and IHI of an invitation to talks from Atomprom in November 2006. Full-scale talks would start later in 2007. The Yomuri Shimbun reported that the Japanese firms would supply steam turbines and generators.
