Kairos Power has announced the start of installation of nuclear safety-related concrete marking the start of "nuclear construction" for the Hermes Low-Power Demonstration Reactor project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Fabrication and testing of the sixth and final 110-tonne superconducting magnet for the ITER fusion machine's 18-metre-tall central solenoid has been completed in the USA. Assembly of the central solenoid is expected to begin soon.

The 223.5-tonne crane is being installed in the turbine hall of the BREST-OD-300 lead-cooled fast neutron reactor at the Siberian Chemical Combine site in Seversk, in the Tomsk Region of Russia.
