The Framatome-General Atomics joint venture has begun fabricating the fuel for the US Department of Energy's  MARVEL microreactor, with delivery of the first shipment of fuel expected in spring 2025.

The Mining and Chemical Combine, part of Rosatom, says that research and development work on the molten salt research reactor project has been completed, with a preliminary design developed.
