The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has made available the publicversions of documents relating to the licence application to build two new nuclear power reactors at the SouthTexas Project site. NRG Energy and South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company filed the documents in late September. The NRC is now looking over them to assess their completeness before it would 'docket' them and begin its assessment of the application. The documents are available for download from the Nuclear Reactors, New Reactor Licensing section of the NRC website.
