KAERI, Mizzou expand cooperation
The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute and the University of Missouri have signed a General Agreement expanding joint efforts in nuclear science and technology, radioisotope applications, neutron beam utilisation, nuclear energy and materials research, and advanced computing.

UKAEA opens tritium fuel cycle facility training simulator
Developed in conjunction with Bilfinger UK, the UK Atomic Energy Authority's new and unique virtual simulator will provide operators of the UKAEA-Eni H3AT Tritium Loop Facility with the opportunity to undergo simulated training exercises in a safe and controlled environment.

Newcleo, Nextchem joint venture launched
France-based innovative reactor developer Newcleo has awarded an engineering services contract to NEXT-N, its newly-launched joint venture with Nextchem to develop the conventional island and balance of plant of nuclear power plants based on Newcleo's 200 MW advanced modular reactors.

Nordic study on siting of fusion pilot plant
Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden all meet the technical requirements to host a pilot fusion reactor, but Finland is the most prepared in terms of regulatory readiness, according to a report conducted by Finland's VTT Technical Research Centre on behalf of Swedish fusion energy company Novatron Fusion Group.

Brazil and China sign MoU on radioisotopes
